Galen was a therapy horse for most of his life; he could both pull a cart as well as safely teach young children how to ride. Advanced riders also enjoyed his many talents under saddle. He had a unique ability to ignore miscues from beginners while maintaining responsiveness to deliberate, subtle cues from experienced riders.
