In loving memory of Fozzie
Fozzie left his job as a 4H show pony to become a favorite lesson horse for beginners and small riders here at Sebastian. He was a Chincoteague pony; a breed made famous by the book Misty of Chincoteague. To control the population of these wild herds, every year the Chincoteague Fire Company rounds them up and swims them across the bay where many of the babies are auctioned off to horse lovers who appreciate their wild spirit. Despite his wild swimming past, Fozzie found happiness and grounding here at SRA.
